Thank you to all the volunteers for your work in making the Coffee House a success!  

Reminder: Please to return the sign up sheet for portfolio conferences by Thursday, Nov. 7 (see attachment).

ELA: The students are writing another mystery story honing their skills in using the elements of mysteries.  We will also be preparing a poppy wreath for our service on Thursday.

Math:  The grade 4's are working on solving problems that involve adding and subtracting 4-digit numbers.  The grade 5's are also working on problem solving, using estimation to see if their answers are reasonable.

Science:  Students will be finishing up their water/sand clock projects in the next few days and presenting them to the class.  We will test them with a stopwatch to see how accurate they are!

Christian Education: Students are reading through and summarizing some of the major stories in Exodus.  Our goal is to have a 'big picture' view of the Bible by learning some major themes in each of the books.

Remembrance Day:  We will be having a Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday at 10:30.  Students are adding verses to a poem called "Thank you Soldiers" and will be presenting at the assembly on Thursday.
