Catapult Launch! 

Students took turns testing the accuracy and speed of their 

catapults by launching pom poms at a target board.

Today we looked at first class levers and started an experiment to test the following question:

Is it easier to move a load if the fulcrum is closer to the load, closer to the effort force, or right in the middle?

Can you name the parts of the 1st class lever?
