The grade 4's are learning about dividing with remainders and are writing word problems to describe when we might have 'leftovers' in real life.

The grade 5's are beginning a unit on managing information: collecting first-hand and second-hand data and displaying data on double bar graphs.  Students are also learning how to input appropriate information to create a double bar graph online.  See Double Bar Graph Maker

Students have been presenting their prime minister power point projects this week - they are very impressive!

Over the last week we've been reading through the story of Ruth.  We have found several similarities in the story of how Boaz 'saves' Ruth from poverty and how Jesus saves us from our sin.  Ask your child how they filled in the chart!
