ELA:  Thank you for all the support you gave as your child typed up his/her story!  They turned out great!  Students will share their stories this week.  The spelling quiz on rock vocabulary will be this Friday.  This week we will also be starting an art project.

Math:  The grade 3's are working categorizing different polygons as well as pyramids and prisms.  They will be creating 3D pyramids and prisms from 'nets' and describing them by how many edges, faces and vertices they have.  The grade 4's are learning to use different strategies to multiply multi-digit numbers.

Science:  This week we will learn about properties of rocks with activities online (available on the blog) as well as investigating properties of minerals to identify them.  We will begin activities to understand erosion towards the end of the week.
