ELA:  Students are presenting their mystery stories to the class this week and will be resuming their Daily 5 activities.

Math:  The grade 4's are working on division and creating their own division word problems.  The grade 5's are estimating products and  This week I will be introducing students to an online program called Khan Academy (see attachment).  This permission form will also be sent home with students tomorrow.

Science: Students will be investigating different technological devices placed in space to help us learn about the Earth (Hubble telescope and remote sensing satellites) , as well as identifying Canadians that have contributed to space science and technology. 

Art: This week we will be making origami stars and displaying them in constellations on the hallway bulletin board.
